has FMI made a statement about IO12 compatibility?
If not, how long after an official release of IOS do they historically endorse the update?
I am sure they are working on making sure everything is compatible. There will be no information until the iOS12 public release. FMGo has made it through many iOS updates and all has gone well. I would not worry too much about this.
It will not be compatible the moment Mohave is released. But once it is, the FMI will test with the released version and make any adjustment needed.
Users should refrain from updating to the latest IOS and macOS the minute it’s available.
I can confirm that it does have at least one bug, not new a new unique one either, one that was fixed before after a long wait and has now returned.
One of our users updated their iPad to iOS 12 and now they get frequent random crashes/freezes when adding photos to a database using insert from device script. This was a serious problem before but eventually got fixed, but appears to be back as soon as he updated to iOS12.
My concerns are with FMGo 15 and ios12. Version 15 is the only one that does not crash with AirPrint. Anyone tested v15 on iOS 12?
If sending iOS backwards was easy I would not worry. Client can not loose AirPrint capability, but the strong push for devices to update is scary.
