How to generate, name and store PDF's and then email them

I want to process a list of approximately 100 invoices each month from contracts.


I intend to process this list one record at a time to either print an invoice on paper or save it as PDF and email it to the client.

Email addresses are in the database with the invoice, as well a calculated field to use as a filename to (temporary) store the PDF as a file (preferably in a predetermined folder). This stored PDF is then to be fetched to be attached to an email and send off...


Sending emails is not a problem, neither is attaching a fixed file in a fixed location. Storing a list of files and attaching different files (variabel) to each separate email is not an option in the "Send mail" script step. How do I do this?


The "External data sources" management only seems to be geared for fixed files in fixed locations ...
