I am trying to debug an issue with FileMaker Server for a client.
I understand the process of closing and then removing a hosted file through the FileMaker Server Admin Console which then moves that file to a folder named: Removed_by_FMS. I have 2 questions.
1) My client has no memory of closing or removing 4 different files from his solution. What else may have caused these files to be moved to the Removed_by_FMS directory?
2) How do I correctly restore these to be active files? I can't find documentation for this. Is it as simple as moving the FM file from the Removed_by_FMS directory to the databases directory and everything should work as expected? Or is there is sequence of required steps to ensure we don't experience any access, performance or other issues with these files? Should I stop the Database Server before moving the files?
