I have a portal that always shows a blank extra row and I am unable to delete it.. Here's a screenshot: This is actually the "invoices" starter solution.
Is there a way to not have that extra row all the time?
Thank you, Thank you!!!
Portals have a "variation" based upon the relationship settings:
Select Allow creation of records in this table via this relationship. When this option is selected, entering data in a related field that has no corresponding related record creates a related record based on the match field in the current table.
This also includes the "blank row" in the portal based on that relationship. This is to allow you to quickly create a related record right there in the portal! It "sorts" to the bottom row, so you may not see it in short portal objects.
IF you do not want to see the blank row, make sure you uncheck the "allow creation...".
You can test the difference by making the change in the Relationship Graph, saving, looking at the layout the portal.
See if that helps,
p.s. I'm also going to move your question to Discussions so more will readily see it. Perhaps you'll get additional answers!
