Bug with portals and desktop scaling above 100% in Windows 10

Filemaker 16 and 17 (all versions)

Windows 10 Version 1803

When Windows 10 Desktop Scaling is set to something greater than 100%, scrolling in portals doesn't work properly.  I find that when i put the mouse inside the portal next to the left edge and run the scroll wheel, nothing happens.  If i move over to the right, scrolling starts to work.  The higher I set screen scaling, the further to the right I have to move my mouse before scrolling with the scroll wheel works.  At 175% scaling, the mouse pointer has to be completely to the right of the portal to scroll it in our solution.

Of course if desktop scaling is set to 100%, portals scroll normally.

To reproduce this problem:

  1. In Windows 10, change desktop scaling from 100% to 150%
  2. Log out and log back in
  3. open your filemaker solution
  4. move the mouse inside the portal and scroll with the scroll wheel.  If you are near the left-hand edge inside the portal, you will not be able to scroll.  If your portal is narrow enough, you will have to be to the right of the portal with the mouse pointer to scroll the portal with the scroll wheel.

I do not know if this affects other versions of Windows.

I don't know any other workaround except to change window scaling back to 100%, which will not work for some of our users.

Thank you,

Tod
