Hi I am new to filemaker.

Recently, I have created a script to update the value of a particular field(field A)(around 70000 records), after the execution of the script, I use command/control I to look at the index, and found that some records which should be updated, retain the same value as before. In my script, I created a flag field to set 0 for all records first and set 1 if I made a changes through the script. I have found that the value of flag field is empty, which is not able to perform find. I could dig them out through searching the field A.

so I tried to recover the whole file and look at the recovery log. I found that there is an error message

WARNING: problems were detected while recovering the database.  The recovered file should NOT be used going forward; copy only the most recent work from it into a backup copy of the original file.

so I should not use this file again and what should I do to tackle this problem?

I am using filemaker 17.
