Hi, I am new to filemaker. I would like to pull the data from other table. I have several tables. Product line item table, Main, line item table1, line item table2, line item table3.

In product table, there are several fields, namely type, name and brand.e.g.

I would like to show the brand in main table and number of portal rows record, for example, A(4).

The relationship between tables are

product line item<-> main

main<->line item table 1(brand A)

main<->line item table 2(brand B)

main<->line item table 3(brand C)

line item tables are displaying different brands.

I have tried to relate product line item with main using type with fields in main(automatically enter data as A) and product line item id. But in that case, I have to create 1 TO for each brand. Is there any other ways to draw data from product line item table without the relationship.

Also, if I have another brand CC which is similar to C. Do I have to create another relationship for CC?

I am using filemaker 17.

My description may not be clear so I will explain further on request.
