Calculation Field / Portal Filter / Overdue Tasks

Hi everyone!!

I have a tasks portal that i filter by open, completed etc. tasks. I would like to filter by overdue status which i managed to do by using the following calculation:

 

Case(

 

Date_Due < Get(CurrentDate);

 

"Overdue";

 

)

 

My problem is:

When i mark a task as complete or cancelled and i filter the portal records again by overdue status i also get the tasks that were previously overdue (my calculation field keeps re-calculating against the date due field) even though they are now marked complete or cancelled.

 

Could you please advise what i am doing wrong and how to avoid re-calculating when a task is complete or cancelled?
