I took a snapshot out of Clients in FMSAC for FMS17. A php-user running a script where the users IP is [:
This looks more to me like a smile face then some useful information. Is there a reason for the [: ?
It looks like maybe there's a language bug where a special character may have caused the string to break.
Do you use IPv6 IP addresses?
No, just IPv4 address.
The installation is in Swedish, but I have never seen this on any FMS17 or earlier versions
I just tested and I get the same issue on Windows Server 2016, US English, no funny account name ("Admin").
The Admin API returns the proper accountName, userName, ipaddress, etc.
So would you say it is a bug?
Looks like it's worth posting in Report a Product Issue
I’m just curious.
Is your PHP page doing an upload of container data?
If the strange user is disconnected, can you properly close the file on the server?
No upload of files
Thank you for the update.
Since the Admin API returns the proper IP Address, are you able to reproduce the issue when running from another machine?
Can you attach a file with sample PHP that displays the issue?
I can reproduce the issue with the same result from a number of different computers/devices.
I'm attaching my very and not at all secure test database and php files (Full Access login in the PHP file).
Edit: Testing again with the Admin, it now actually seems I am getting the same issue via the Admin API too. I can't say for sure whether that's because something has actually changed since last time I tested, or because I made a mistake last time.
In any case, the Admin API is now reporting:
"privsetName": "[Full Access]"
If have tried this on two totally different machine (installations) and can reproduce that same [:
Thanks for the additional information and sample files. I have sent all information to Testing for further review.
CamelCase_data and Johan Hedman:
Our Testing department is able to reproduce the issue. All information has been sent to our Development department for further review.
