My client has a new employee and wants the new employee to use his new credentials to open a local filemaker file.
Now the local file opens without asking any credentials because Windows 10 registered the previous employee login and password.
I hoped to solve the problem by opening the file while holding the shift key and enter the new credentials. I checked the box "remember credentials" and I also changed in the preferences dialog box the user name.
To my big surprise when I reopened the file again it didn't automatically use the new credentials but kept using the old credentials.
How can I delete the stored password used by windows to open FileMaker files?
We are currently using FileMaker 16 and FileMaker Server 16
