I have been sending emails from Filemaker 16 running on MacOS 10.13 without problem but the same script does not work in Filemaker 17 running on MacOS 10.14. The Apple Mail application opens but no new email window opens.
A suggestion to see if the script needs to be adjusted or fixed would be to do File > Send > Mail in FileMaker and see if that works. Another thing it could be is a known issue we have with 17 on Mojave. Check out the link I will post below and try the steps I list as well and see if that fixes the issue.
"Send Mail [via E-Mail client] will prompt for access to the Mail app the first time it is triggered. The setting is stored in System Preferences > Privacy > Automation.
NOTE: If you select "Deny", you will not be able to Send Mail via E-Mail client until you adjust the setting."

Thanks a lot TSPlatypus.
Under System Preferences >Privacy>Automation>Filemaker 17 ‘Mail’ was unchecked. After checking it the Script started working fine.
