Hello, I am a novice with Filemaker however I have created a fairly easy application to archive information on artwork along with it's scanned image.  All of the scanned images are high resolution (large files).  Currently I drag and drop the high resolution file into the container field for that record.  However as I add records I find that everything slows down.  When I want to save a report as a PDF Filemaker to go into a "not responding" mode. I've been digging around in the archives to learn if there is a way that I can direct filmmaker to a file and it creates a smaller less storage hogging thumbnail in my container field to speed things up and generate reports quicker.  I've seen "Getthumbnail" but not sure thats my solution.  I want to solve this soon as I expect to grow this database to over 5000 images.   Can anyone enlighten me.  Thanks.  PS I'm running this on a MACbook Pro OS Mojave.
