Import Records Bug Causing Data Loss? How do I report?

I am using FileMaker Pro Advanced 16.0.5.500 on macOS 10.13.6.

I have found what appears to be a bug when importing records. I am importing an Excel table, and one of the columns contains numbers that are typically entered as an integer or as a number with only two decimal places (e.g., 0.58). After importing this to FileMaker, some of the numbers are slightly changed. Like .58 is Excel becomes .57999999999999996 in FileMaker. Another example, .55 in Excel becomes .55000000000000004 in Filemaker. The source data in Excel is definitely entered as having only two decimal places.

Has anyone encountered this?

Am I doing something wrong here, or is this a bug?

If a bug, how should I report this or does anyone know if this was fixed in later versions than my 16.0.5.500?

Thanks.
