I've noticed a nasty bug when trying to reorder layouts using the Manage Layouts dialog. When I select a layout (or folder or separator- anything in the list) and try to move it up or down, the move does not act on the item selected but on the item above or below it (depending on the direction of the move; when moving an item UP, the item ABOVE the selection will be moved; when moving an item DOWN, the item BELOW the selection will be moved ).
When selecting multiple items (either contiguous or noncontiguous), the selected items ARE properly moved as is expected behavior. The bug appears to be only when ONE item is selected.
Make a new database. To save time, use a premade Filemaker sample app like Assets.
Select Manage > Layouts from the File menu
Select any layout in the list. Doubleclick to open Layout Setup to confirm that it is the item in the list, then close Layout Setup.
Move the item up or down.
When moving an item UP, the item ABOVE the selection will be moved.
When moving an item DOWN, the item BELOW the selection will be moved.
