I think I stumbled on to a glitch in File Maker 17 in Table view (See Photo)
It's hard to tell what the issues are. Can you post an example file instead of just a photo to see if we can reproduce the problem?
What version of FileMaker 17 are you using ( the "dot" version 17.1, 17.3, etc)?
The version is 126.96.36.1990, The file has grown from Version 11, so it has been around for a while.
So previously the theme has been "Classic", Since that is being depreciated I have changed the theme to a new one that is supported.
In a table view, in the viewing preference I have the header option on.
For navigation I use pop over with button inside that are simply go to layout buttons.
I have been using this feature since it came out in 13.
This works on every layout in FileMaker 17 except the table view. When you click on the pop over button
It make a ding sound and will not open. The only way out is to open the task manager to force it close. Doing socloses the entire application.
I cannot supply a copy of the file since it is proprietary rights.
If you run it with debugger, do you get any kind of error at the Go To Layout step?
It never gets that far the pop over wont open, but works fine in v16
also there are no script triggers on the pop over.
I have seen corrupt layout objects from Classic get wonky when upgraded. Can you simply delete the pop-over and rebuild it from scratch and see if that solves the problem?
You could also make a copy of the file and delete everything except the layout and base tables and post that?
