Hiding a repetition field's popups problem

I'm using FMPA 17 on iMac,  OS Mojave.  I use a repetition field with 7 elements (Number) in a table.  On the layout I use a popup element with 1...7 repetitions and each popup uses the same ValueList to choose a Judge's Score.  Sometimes I have fewer Judges so I want to clean the interface up so that when I have 3 judges, I only want 3 of the 7 to show on the layout.  If I use 1 Popup element with 7 repetitions I can't hide the other 4 popup repetitions.  The number of Judges I have can vary.  I tried the "Hide" calculation with contents "Get(CalculationRepetitionNumber)>3" to hide repetitions 4...7 but nothing hides.  If I break the popup into 7 separate popups each with repetitions 1...1, 2...2, 7...7 etc.  everything works.  That seems like a awkward way to have to do this as I have this element on several of my layouts.

Am I overlooking something?  I hope there is a more efficient way to do this than having to break the repetition popups into separate elements?

Thanks in advance for your help.
