I've got a table of 50 fields of data and I need to export various sub-sets of fields in specific order for different purposes. It's become tedious to do this in each export by choosing and re-ordering the fields during export, or by manipulating the output file in excel by re-ordering columns and deleting unneeded columns. How can I set up specific output sets of fields in specific order? Layouts do this on the screen but not on the export, but maybe I'm missing something. Or does this require a report or a script? Those would be my less favorite approaches as I am not familiar with them now, but will learn if I must.
