WebDirect can be great for semi-public websites. Here's an example of using WebDirect to book instrument reservations at the South Carolina School of Music. The solution was but by the school's Jason Trenary and combines DayBack Calendar with WebDiect layouts.
Students select the instruments they're interested in, and then that criteria is passed to DayBack where students see when their instruments are available and complete the reservation.
Here's a video of it in action, along with more details: https://www.seedcode.com/appointment-booking-filemaker-webdirect-calendar/
We're doing some cool stuff with WebDirect these days, so if you'd like to add calendaring and mapping to your WebDirect solutions, please get in touch.
