      Replying to Posts received by email bounce back "Undeliverable".

       

      It appears to be limited to my Account or ISP, as others appear to reply to Posts via email successfully.

          first thing i would check is that you sent the email from the same email

          account that is registered at Technet

           

          i see two different email addresses in the headers you included:

           

          X-Postfix-Sender: rfc822; rlanthier@mymts.net <mailto:rlanthier@mymts.net>

           

          and

           

          *From: *rene lanthier <rlanthier@cyberviewfx.com

            Hi Steve

             

            Thank you for the suggestion, which was 100% correct,

             

            Unforetunately, there appears to be no functionality for identifying the post as Answered

              Hi Robear: The answer option is only available if the author defines the post as a question. You must set the post to be a question when you first create it, or within 15 minutes after you create it. HTH.

                Thanks for the clarification, I used the "Question" functionality in my last post but missed it on the first post a few weeks ago.

                 

                The email response is very efficient along with the footer that is a great reminder of the DevCon dates.

                  On the subject of Posts defined as Question or Not:

                       - how many posts can be marked as Correct Answer, Helpful vs I Like?

                       - how are points attributed for each

                    There is only one correct answer. If more than one respondent comes up with the correct answer, I pick the one that was entered first. You can select up to two helpful answers. If an even more helpful answer comes in later, you can then unmark one of the earlier ones and re-award the new one as helpful. If you look at the bottom of the widget panels on the right side of the page, there's a "Legend" panel, which shows that the correct answer is worth 4 points, and each helpful answer is worth 2. HTH.
