finding and installing the correct version of Java

I'm having an issue with FileMaker Pro Advanced 11.0v4 crashing on MacLion 10.7.2 on a new iMac.The odd thing is that the crashes always happen immediately following editting a script comment, and saving the script. The first part of the entry in CrashReporter is listed at the end of this submission.

I read in other discussions that I should check the version of Java on my system. Java preferences has two entries in the list and are both checked "On":

Java SE 6 - Apple Inc. - 64-bit - 1.6.0_29-b11-402

Java SE 6 - Apple Inc. - 32-bit - 1.6.0_29-b11-402

How do I know if I have the correct version, and if I don't, where do I find and install the correct version?

Thanks
