This is more of a warning than a request for help...
I've got an FM-DB and an online shop, connected via ESS-Technology.
After having done stuff happily between FM + ESS I then had to restore the MySQL DB from a backup.
It was only then, that I noticed that show all records / show omitted and some other commands (notably Go to related records), don't actually seem to send an SQL command to the MySQL DB.
FM was only showing the 3 records that it knew about, while in the MySQL DB there were thousands.
Only searching for a non-empty id in the id field really actually then loaded all the x-thousand records which were now in the MySQL Database.
Anybody got succinct information about which commands really force FM to query the remote DB?
