There are a couple of issues.
1. If you are using static map images you can build multiple points into a URL using a GET request. The length of the URL is limited to 1000 chars.
Does this also work with standard addresses rather than lat/lon data? I've been looking into this as well.
I haven't found a way to do this directly from inside the webviewer but if you can output the data as a table, www.batchgeo.com will turn it into a map with the multiple locations identified, even color coding them into pre-defined groupings.
That's a good find. I also stumbled across:
Which has scripts to do multiple point mapping but I haven't gotten around to picking it apart.
yes, it does. Of course addresses use up your GET limit of 1000 chars a lot faster but POST doesn't have that problem.
You can collect Lat/Lon info from google, it's returned in the data array.
I haven't been in the forum since it has been changed.
As far as I can tell there's no way of attaching a FileMaker file to a post... or am I missing something?
I've uploaded the Map.fp7 file referenced in the "https://fmdev.filemaker.com/message/57818#57818" post to my website if anyone still needs it.
Here's the link;
