What is used for iPad simulation when making webinars and training presentations? I need screen shots from the iPad version of the file window and thought one of a simulator would work the best.
Suggestions are appreciated.
Would taking screen shots directly from the iOS device work?
Hold down the POWER and HOME button at the same time to take a screenshot in iOS.
Very cool. Thank you! Steve. I did not know that.
Yes that works great.
if you have FMGo and the files on the iPad (directly or thru remote), you can "screenshot" by pressing the two buttons that normally take screen shots.
This is for iPhone, but works the same on iPad:
Take a screenshot of the iPhone display: Quickly press and release the Sleep/ Wake and Home buttons at the same time. A flash of the screen lets you know the screenshot was taken. The screenshot is added to the Camera Roll album.
Yep, thanks Bev. That is just what I needed. (I just fell prey to my usual habits: jump in and use the device -- only read the manuals when you have to --- so I didn't know about the screen shot on the pad/phone.)
Thanks to both you & Steve.
When I got my iphones... there was almost no documentation... and I found out this from word-of-mouth.
I also use this technique to take screeenshots of my internet banking receipts... very useful for the pedant!
Reflector is a $15.00 app that provides real time screen images using AirPlay and can create movies. Good for presentations.
