I have a snapscan scanner and when it creates a pdf it brings up Apple's Preview application. In order for the user to insert the pdf into FM12 they have to save it to the desktop then drag it into FM12. The user then has to delete the pdf off their desktop.
Is there someway to automate this process.
I am not sure about this, but I know that you can target an AppleScript or Automator action (saved as an application) from within the SnapScan software. My thought is to have the application you create take the input and push it into FMP.
To give you an idea about this, see this web page. It is about using the Mac application EagleFiler with SnapScan, but could be applicable to your situation.

Thanks for the information. I beleive I can get snapscan to drop a file into a folder without user intervention. Do you know the script steps to import that file from the folder into the container field, then delete it out of the folder?
This snap2fm seems to be just what I'm looking for!
Thanks to all,
