Or are you trying to get something else?
I am trying to get the XML from Google maps. It works obviously fine on the Mac, but not in FM Go 12. I know they work differently so I'm not expecting the same result, but I was expecting something.

One thing to keep in mind is that you may have to insert a pause to allow the web content time to be downloaded.
As an experiment, add a pause of, say, 10 seconds, after navigating to the URL, and before the GetLayoutObjectAttribute step. If this works, you can always write some code (a loop) to (a) pause a bit, (b) check the contents to see if everything has been downloaded, and (c) exit the loop once the contents have been downloaded or after so much time has elapsed (a certain number of iterations of the loop code).

Try the new script step: Insert from URL.
That doesn't need the web viewer and will insert directly the xml into a field.
Thank you! That's what I forgot about.
I tried a lot of different things, but the pause was not needed because I saw the content was loaded and I already did the loo. I'll try the new function tomorrow.
Ray, have you tested to see if this is one of those "the field must be on the layout to Insert..."?
Yes, the field must be on the layout, as any Insert script step needs.
I don't have the field on the layout.
The only thing is that it takes about 5 seconds to get my results (driving directions). That would be a bit of a concern for me but my client won't wen notice, I bet.
