If you need a break from the items that are slow in v12, spend 15 minutes and create a quick image or document management DB. I'm sitting in a B&N using WiFi on my laptop and iPad, and it's hard to believe this is running on a server in another city (about a 50ms ping average.)
4G on my iPhone -- Still very nice. Scrolling is almost as fast as WiFi.
Interactive Content = loss of drag and drop from FMP, retains drag into FMP container.
The behind the scenes change from FMI was that the image thumbnails are now generated on the server, and only the data needed to display the tiny thumbnails is transmitted across the network. Huge difference than sending the full image and making the client process it, especially with WAN and GO.
