Is version 11 Server Advnaced developer version (limited users) still available as a download? If so, can someone please post me a link. If not, why not?
I'm hoping for an anwer here, too- I'm working on a project that, for the time being, must remain on 11 - it will be a month at least before an upgrade is possible. Access to that version would be extrememly helpful.
You can download a full installer of FileMaker Server 11 Advanced from here, then install with your license key.
I have the same question. Except, I am searching for the windows edition of FMS 11. Does anyone know where to download this edition? I only can find some upgrades on the filemaker website.
I was not able to find one. Hmm...
You get the license code for the development copy of FM Server Adv if you have a paid subscription to this forum. Server software is not included with the free signup.
At least some of us asking this question *are* paid members. The license for 12 is available right where it's expected, it's just that because 12 forces an upgrade of the file format, it won't work for those of us developing for eleven. I *can't* upgrade because of timing, and because of a bug in FMGo 12 on iPad 2s. We'll upgrade when we can, but for now the dev license for eleven that was previously available would be incredibly useful, and since there is not an obvious email address to inquire with the fmdev folks about this, the forums seemed like the best recourse.
I'm obviously new here, so if I'm missing something obvious, I apologize - I don't mean to tread on toes, and I certainly didn't mean to appear as if I were advocating piracy.
Similar question. Is it still possible to buy FM pro 11 licenses?
Yes v 11 and probably v10 licenses are still avaialble if purchased through one of the volume license programs it's $5 for a downgrade link to 11. If you need an 11 Advanced licnese only call FMI and explain your situation and they will probably help you out.
Links for downloading FM Server 11 are still at:
The Software Keys for it are in your "My Profile" area of this Tech Net site.
If you joined (paid) after the FM 12 release, you might not have a Key for FMS11, but I would bet you could get some help with that via email to David Simerly, our FMI liason for this site. He's very responsive to our needs.
