FileMaker Pro 12's new grid tool allows developers to create layouts similar to using a web-based CSS framework such as the 960 Grid. In the video I demonstrate a file I've created that can help developers layout their design with a grid. This file can be downloaded at www.NewLeafData.com/downloads.php

You're welcome, Beverly. Thanks for the comment.
Thanks Beatrice. Hope the file is helpful.
I showed your file to our in-house User Experience Special Interest Group yesterday, and everyone there (FMP developers, .net developers, and web people) thought it was a very valuable resource. So thanks again.
Really great resource
Thanks Beatrice. I'm glad the User Experience Special Interest Group found it worthwile. Thanks for sharing it.
You're welcome. Thanks for the comment.
I've never quite understood CSS and this is the first time I have heard of the 960 grid. Can you point me in the direction of some info on it?

Hi Daniel. Thanks for posting, however, the link is defective.
Wow - this is an old thread!
Thanks all for the renewed interest. I've since created a different grid tool, and in fact, that tool is in its second iteration. These new grid tools were originally for sale but interest was low (or marketing was awful!) so I've reset the new grid tool to donationware. If you'd like to offer something for the tool you can, but it's not required or even expected.
You can find the new grid tool - NLD Grids v2 on Gumroad.
And here are a couple of YouTube video demonstrating how to use NLD Grids:
