Container field can't render PDF

I'm on a Mac OSX10.7.4 using FM12 Advanced.

I set up a container field for interactive content (pdf etc) and drag a pdf into the field (or use insert pdf command). The field won't render the pdf, although it is in the container field (I can export, see thumbnails etc). I have tried this also with the FM starter files and it's the same problem (i.e. not my set up). If I copy the file to another Mac (2 different ones), it works fine. I have uninstalled FM and reinstalled. Same problem

So, it seems it's something with the Acrobat set up. I've checked the AdobePDFViewer.plugin is in Library/Internet Plug-Ins. I've reinstalled Acrobat. Still the same problem. Is there anyway to "point" FM12 to the acrobat viewer?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
