Will the following scenario work:
A phone rings in an office. The admin assistant answers and simultaneously, FileMaker opens and either finds that client or creates a new record.
I can script the latter part. My question is really about the interaction between a phone system and FileMaker. This is from a potential client, so I do not know the physical set up in the office. However, he tells me that the phone and computer are not currently connected (e.g. via USB).
Has anyone here set something like this up? If so, what is required? What questions should I be asking?
