I have never needed a title footer and often wanted a last page footer (for instance to put the total of all lines in a multi page quote). Any chance we could have this?
Yup, good call
Does Trailing Grand Summary not achieve what you want?
No. A TGS is not stuck to the bottom of the page but floats up to join the last body part ... perhaps at the very top if you are unlucky.
Calculate the footer and display only if on last page? and/or use conditional formatting?
That is exactly what I currently have to do. The nastly side effect is the waste of paper and design constraint that having the same size and layout elements for all footers. Of course not helped by the limitations on slideing, not layout calculations and transparent text being white! Then it is also likely to need the last page to be 'discovered in advance' and perhaps calculations added to the data structure.
If we had layout calculations it would help but the simple solution is for FM to offer a special footer for the last page in the same way it offers a special header and footer for the first page.
