Use an older Filemaker version with support of PPC.
Version 11 and 12 don't do that.
Thanks for the reply, but I'm using the same copy of 11 as before, when it was saving the runtime as universal. I could use an earlier version, but would an earlier version be able to save a runtime from a database created in a later version, with more features?
I think this depends on the Mac OS. If I Recall Correctly (IIRC), OSX 10.6 and later do not support Universal Binary. FMP Runtime is following that limitation so you cannot create UB as the required OS resources no longer exist.
(I could be mistaken about the exact OS version. §^=( )
But then why would it have allowed me to do so before? I'm running the same system software and other setup as before -- haven't changed a thing. I'm still on 10.6, though I was on an earlier version of it the last time I tried to do this; don't think that should make a difference though....
