You are not going to find any barcode scanner that will connect directly to FM Go. The reason is iOS doesn't allow it. I ran into this with capturing mag stripe data from a mag stripe reader. I ended up bulding an iOS app CardSwipe. there is another scanner that can scan barcodes and mag stripe data which we are thinking of adding to CardSwipe but the device is not cheap.
Have you checked out CNS Barcode?
Pueblo System, Inc.
If data can be entered into FMGO from an external keyboard a scanner working like a keyboard wedge should also be able to add data, in theory anyway.
Thanks, it appears to a bluetooth scanner rather than one thats connected directly to the iPhone. Will follow up with the company

Thanks for your email. We currently don't offer a barcode reader that will work with portable devices such as an iPad/iPhone.
look for Zbar barcode reader (free)
there is a simplistic iphone app in the app store.
The workflow could be to:
use the Go app w/ an asset app (like the demo)
open the zbar app
cam/scan the asset barcode as 1 entry
cam/scan the serial number as a 2nd entry
thumb-tap into the scanned text and use the copy baloon
dbl-tap home buton
thumb-tap Go app to bring to front
zbar is an open-source so there may be better possibilibities, but the above process could get you through a project...
I did a quick search on 'barcode scanner iPad' and found the following:
which is connected, but looks fragile, I would probably look for something like:
Hope that helps,
