I have a ipad layout with a "keypad" of numbers 0-9 on it. I have a script inputting the return values into a field. Is there a sceipt call we can use to stop the "ipad" keyboard from popping up with each entry?
The keypad is by your design?
If yes you should act via script to complete the field in a way that the user doesn't activate any fields...
When you set the field then have to save the record.
Just put a Commit/Records Requests as the last step…

What if you set a global variable with each keystroke and display that on the layout - effectively no field on the layout. Then when the user finishes entry you set the field via script.
Thanks for your response.
Actually I figured a method to accomplish it. I locked down the fields in question and then let the script update the field via "set Field".

I have found that scripting data entry via a custom number pad or keyboard is very problematic if the user is entering repeating characters very quickly.
Try entering 222.99 very fast and you will see the problem. FMGO simply ignores some of the digits.
It's very frustrating if you are trying to use it as a front end for a POS system.
