Well; you don't have to give the tab panel a name. But you will probably want to.
The function returns the tab number; followed by the object name of the tab if it has one.
From FM12 help:
When the tab panel to be switched to is tab number 2, named “Products,” Get(TriggerTargetTabPanel) returns:
That is correct. However if you ever move the tabs around or add a new one in between, then your code will break. Having an object name provides some insurance
