What does the system log say?
Clearly something was changed on the machine recently. Did you install any updates? Any other software?
If possible take the server down and check the disk drives. Since the DB seems to be working, it might be a problem with the backup drive.
That stated as long as the server is down, make copies of the DBs and have FileMaker run a recover on the copies to see if there is any corruption. Could be cause of the problem or a result.
I did a Shutdown and repair permissions (verifying the disk didn't show any
issues). Backup completed successfully. Thanks!
