Is there a way to use a auto sizing script for FM go to auto size the file deployed on the Iphone?
If you mean window auto-sizing, no. In FileMaker Go, the window dimensions are dictated by the size and orientation of the device. What are you trying to accomplish?
If you have a layout customized for the iPhone size, you can use a script onLayoutLoad trigger for each layout to have it switch to the correct layout based on the Get Application version number or name to take you to the correct version of the layout for that device.
You need the well-designed layout for the correct device in each case.
Hello.. Mr. Huston
I've created a solution in FM Pro 12 advance..which I use the templete and made this solution the same size as the outline of the Iphone.. when I view it on the Iphone it's still looks like just a regular Desktop layout..I'm trying to get the file to open to fit the screen resolution of the Iphone.
I'm not exactly sure what you're asking, but layouts specifically for iPhone/iPad should be created specifically for them. Layouts designed for a desktop won't look good shrunk down to an iPhone. There's no logic in FileMaker that automatically optimizes a layout based on the device it's being used on. You can create layouts for an iPhone and then use the anchors to make sure it fits the phone regardless or device orientation, but there's no logic in Filemaker that will take your desktop layouts and shrink them down/optimize them for an iPhone.

When you open the file on the iphone...it's slides all over the place..It's not set when it opens if that makes sense..
Can you post screen shots of what the layout looks like on iPhone and desktop? That may help clarify what it is you're describing.
I'm still not clear what the problem is, but it sounds like it might have something to do with layout object auto-sizing via anchors. As a diagnostic experiment, you might try duplicating a layout you're having trouble with, selecting all objects, anchoring all objects to the top and left of the window (and not to the bottom or right) in the Inspector, and checking how the new layout behaves.
If the layout is larger than the iPhone screen (in points), you can pinch to shrink-to-fit or to enlarge to zoom-in on an area. If enlarged, you can move it around to focus on what you want to see more clearly.
That's all as intended.
You still need to script the correct layout navigation based on the application name/number functions as well as realizing that users can chose to zoom-in with Go.
You might also try scripting window resizing using the Adjust to Fit option settings. That might make it zoom out to the iPhone screen size.
Here you go..screen shots of the Desktop and the Iphone...Yeah..I may have to try it that way.
The background of the layout in the body will not shrink to fit the templete size for the iphone..does that matter? Everything else is designed within the templete.
On the iPhone layout, it appears as if you made the objects on the layout sit within the boundaries but didn't make the actual page smaller. In layout mode, go to the right side of the layout and make the width of the layout only as wide as the guides for iPhone. Then do the same for the length. FMP 12 provides layout guides for both the length and width of the iPhone. In order to have a layout that doesn't slide all over the place, you should make your layout so that it fits within the smallest width and length of either portrait or landscape, and then use the anchors to control the behavior. Hope this helps.
I can zoom in and touch the buttons..It's just I have to zoom in for it to fit the screen of the layout.. I thought it would easily fit the screen on open.
When..I try to shrink the height and bottom to fit the the iphone layout it won't let me size it to that point..when I try to change it it the inspector I put the numbers in and they go right back to the original number.
It let me resize it enough to where it's not sliding around anymore and I don't have to zoom in..so I think this is ok..Thanks!
