I've got a new client w/ one FM11 CWP two-machine deployment, and we're going to be creating a new FM12 CWP setup -- probably before they upgrade the 1st to FM12.
They're planning on using a two-machine deployment for FM12 too, but they'd like to have both websites (11 & 12) on the same subdomain.
I'm thinking that we could install the FM12 WPE on the web server ("standard" 2-machine config) and put a copy of the FM11 API Standalone on that same web server for the FM11 site. We'd then put the FM11 WPE on the FM11 DB server machine ("alternative" 2-machine config).
I've tested this on dev servers and it seems to work fine. They don't have a ton of traffic on either site, so the slightly lower performance of the FM11 site should be acceptable. And once they upgrade all their DBs to FM12, everything will be in the "standard" 2-machine config.
Can anyone think of any potential problems with this setup?
