Getting rid of the trial

Question asked by twalz on Mar 8, 2013

Shortly after FileMaker 12 was announced, I downloaded the trial version and played with it briefly before purchasing an actual FMP 12 license, and downloading and installing it.

Now when I click on the icon of a database it launches the trial version of FMP 12 and gives me a message that the database I've selected cannot be opened. They all work fine if I first launch FMP 12 and then choose the database I want from the "recent files" list.

I thought I had deleted the trial version, and I don't find it anywhere. How can I clear this up?

I'm using FMP Advanced 12.0 v3 on Mac OS 10.7.5.
