Scroll to bottom of page with mouse  wheel

      Hello,

I find the mouse wheel behaviour in FM12 Windows very strange.

      In form view :

I can use the mouse wheel to scroll through records. (Hate it...)

When I hide and lock the toolbar, I no longer scroll through the records.

But how can I use the mouse wheel to scroll to the bottom of a record ?

      Thanks in advance !

Im assuming you are on Windows, since on mac the mouse wheel seems to work more like it should and like you want.

You could design your layout in a list view but restrict it to one record by either a scripted find, or something like

          Show all records

          Omit Record

          Show omitted only

List view will then allow you to scroll that one record vertically with the mouse wheel, although its never quite the same as 'form view'.

Im sure it used to work without doing such things, but since the majority of my layouts are designed without the need to scroll I have never really noticed it to be a problem.  For what its worth, FM11 on windows is the same as 12.

            Hello Steve,

thanks for this workaround. It works.

The drawback for this method is that I always have to restrain my selection to 1 record.

Like you said, on the mac the scrolling works like it should.

Why is there this difference between the Mac and the Windows version ?
