FileMaker does not support html email, inline images or more than 1 attachment. Basically, it is a plain text message with one attachment.
There are plenty of FileMaker plugins from third parties that support html email (with hyperlinks), inline images and multiple attachments. My favorite is CNS's SMTPit, but you can do it with many others including the free Scriptmaster.
If you do send plain text email with a URL that starts up "http://", they will show up as a hyper link in most email programs.
What I actually want to do is have the user type in a description then
after highlighting they can assign a link to that description. Does that do
Hyperlinking "<a href>" is a html function and this is not available on FileMaker natively. You will need a FileMaker plugin like CNS's SMTPit to send emails with HTML.
