I was sure the Inspector Indents section would do this, but darned if I could get it to do anything. But something seems strange with your fonts. I played around with various fonts and I tried it in Classic and Themed and coudn't get mine to run together like yours do up there. What font is it and what OS are you on? And do you have 12v3 client? Just trying to guess what is causing that since it obviously looks pretty bad. What happens when you change fonts?
Not sure what is causing this but there are a couple of work arounds to this issue. You could add spaces before the values to push them to the right. This could potential cause problems if you use this the data from this field for other purposes. Another option is to create two value lists, one for Man and one for Woman. Then create a field just the size of the radio button, assign the Man value list to the field. Type the word Man on the layout in the position you want it to appear. Now duplicate the field and assign the Woman value list to the field. Position this field where you want it and then type Woman on the layout. Although you are using two fields on the layout, the radio buttons will work like they would on one field.
I've seen this before (in rare instances) when a field had anchors on it and the window's width was short. Does your field have anchors?
I use helvetica with FMPA12v3 client (MacOS X 10.8.2)

Nothing at all.
Solution: I have changed my layout to Classic Theme. Then, I changed it again to Soft Gray FileMaker Millennium. Now the field looks good.
This field was copied from another solution. Maybe moving around with this field has corrupted "something" inside its format.
Solved! Thank you!
It has up and left anchors, but the problem remains even changing those anchors.
Good workaround. Anyway, as I solved the problem, I would use your technique in the future for other solutions. Thanks!
Just curious… if you change back to the Classic theme, does the problem come back? Or did changing the theme snap it out of it's funk?

No. The problem is gone after the first change.
