You set "available menu commands" to "minimum" for that privilege set, I believe this disables the export command in FMGO
Here's a guide on exporting as well in GO:
try setting it to "All" and see if that un-greys it out.
That works! Thank you. So I suppose I can't set to minimum (for available menu commands option) and yet allowing Export. The reason for such is to "discourage" users from accessing to quick find, duplicate records, delete found records etc (available on the bottom right of the FMGO).
Have you considered using custom menus to disable those features? FileMaker Go wont use all the available features of custom menus on the desktop, but it will respect a custom menu set where you override (and I think disable?) existing menu items.
I haven't used custom menu yet but will definitely want to give it a try. Thank you.
I may be wrong, but if you set the Toolbar to 'Hide/Locked' in a startup script in FileMaker Pro, then in FileMaker Go, the Toolbar at the bottom will be hidden and the commands that you're worried about will be disabled. This is without using Custom Menus and will allow you to set the Menu options to allow exports.
Please come back and tell us if this works ...

Yes it works too except that the user can't scroll through the records (using the left and right slider). But it can overcome by inserting two buttons to replace that.
