Hello. I have a FileMaker db hosted through FileMaker Server in which I need to run multiple ODBC imports. I modify this database using FileMaker Pro Advanced on my local machine through the remote/client setup. I have a question on how to create the Import Records script steps that will run these imports. I have the DSNs created on the server and have confirmed that they are hooked up to the remote database correctly. When I create the Import Report script step and indicate it is using an ODBC datasource, it looks for the DSNs installed on my local machine. Can I not tell it to instead use the DSNs on the server? Do I have to install the DSNs on my local machine just to create the script step and then have it switch to the server DSNs when run as scheduled? I'm a total newbie to this area of FileMaker, so any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
