The quick-and-dirty fix is have a creation timestamp on the subject records. Sort the portal on this (descending).
Thank you for replying, that way does a great job of sorting last to first. But still leaves the the blank copy at the bottom of the listing.
When creating a new record I would like to not to have to scroll to the bottom of the list to find the blank record. Is there a way to get this one on the top
With the use of filtered portals (2 of them, same relationship, which I think is Mr_Vodka's sample), you can filter a sinlge row portal placed above the other portal to show only the records which have a blank key -- which will be the last/creation row.
As soon as you enter info in that portal at the top and commit the record, it will jump to it's place in the portal below, leaving a blank for creation ready to use again.
I've done something similar - use global fields and a script to commit the record - but this is slicker.
