We are using SharePoint 2010 and FileMaker Server Advanced v12. We would like to connect from SharePoint to a FileMaker-database on one of our FM-servers using Layer2's Business Data List Connector.
When I install FileMaker's ODBC-driver on a test-machine and create a System or User Data Source Name (DSN) this works perfect. However BDLC needs a connection string.
Is anyone having experience with setting up this kind of integration ?
Do I have to install FileMaker's ODBC-driver on the SharePoint-server ? SharePoint seems to use ".Net Framework Data Provider fro ODBC".
How can I create a connection string that points to the database I need access to ?
Thanks for any help.
