I'm working through a similar problem on an older version 12 that I think is due to a missing browser plug-in (Adobe Reader) on a new Windows 8 machine.
Are you able to "insert PDF" in the field? If NOT this indicates the reader plug-in is missing (or maybe incompatible version?). See Answer ID: 10245
Are you using external storage? Is the file served or hosted? Have you checked that the pdf is available? You might also want to check that your webviewer is accessing it's engine; add a webviewer object and see if you get an error.
Yes I can't insert the PDF into the container and then it displays that message.
The container was operating fine in the morning (ie before in installed the update) - then it stopped. All my plug-ins seem fine. I'm running windows 7 only
The contain is storing the the PDF in the container filed which is running on a server.
The containers were working fine this morning just before I installed the update - ie they were all there and viewable. Then directly after opening the database after the update it wasn't working.
I deleted the pdf's out of a couple of containers and then dragged the PDF back into the container and still the same issue.
ps.. I have a tab set up with google maps and that seems to be working fine.
