I have a client who wants his FileMaker data integrated with a shopping cart on his WordPress site. His web team likes to use Cart66. It seems to me there are a couple of ways to approach this:
1. Move all the product information from FileMaker to Cart66 (MySQL) and use ESS to add/edit/delete within FileMaker. (This would require full access rights to the MySQL database.)
2. Push the data from FileMaker to Cart66 via the Execute SQL script step.
I've not done either of these and would like to hear feedback from those who have.
If this WP plugin just uses regular wordpress objects, you could possibly augment the filemaker wordpress plugin Lauren Kuhlman made as well
I've never dealt with Cart66, but I would say method #1 is easier to deal with, as long as you can setup a reliable DSN for the ESS connection to MySQL.
