Good Morning All,

I have numerous applications that authenticate via LDAP. I have a new situation where I want to send out a unique ID to the directory and pull back related fields.

I found examples of some scripting that works in other examples. Here's a subset of an example that is called in Cold Fusion:

name="AuthenticateUser"

attributes="uid,dn,dc"

maxrows="1"

filter="(uid=#form.cfusername#)"

server="DIRECTORY PATH"

Port="389"

start="ou=people,ou=intranet,dc=motorola,dc=com"

username="#GetUserInfo.dn#"

password="#form.cfpassword#">

<cfset LoginMessage = "Passed">

<cfcatch type="any">

<!--user password error-->

<cfset LoginMessage = "Failed">

My question, is I'm not sure how to incorporate this into an FM application. If anyone has experience with this, I would be greatly appreciative !!!

Thanks in advance for anyone's help

Regards,

Glenn
