Could you provide the condition that your using?
One thing that comes to mind is if you are using a global field in the condition, it may not be set in FileMaker Go file causing it to fail. I have fallen victim to this on ocassion.
Thank you for your reply. I'm using a standard text field. Apoun entry the text changes to high lighted yellow. Works fine in 12 but not in the Go environment.

Highlight doesn't work in FileMaker Go... you will need to change the text colour or the fill colour of the text field instead.
FileMaker 12 introduced the ability to format an object differently for different states. In Layout Mode, select the field and look at the "Appearance" tab of the Inspector Palette. Towards the top, there's a pop-up menu that lets you select which object state you want to edit the formatting for: "Normal State," "In Focus," "Hover," and "Pressed." Use these intead of conditional formatting to achieve the effect you're describing.
